| Crackers Slade were originally offered a very good deal to record this album by the Telstar label. The album was probably the best-selling of Slade's latterday career. The issue reviewed here contains 11 tracks and features a few Christmas songs given the immense Slade treatment and in the context of a Christmas party album, even the Slade version of the Okey Cokey actually makes perfect sense. The party songs are REAL party songs. Slade sound like they are actually having a good time in the studio. The importance of this reissue is that it makes a few songs available on CD for the very first time, including new versions of 'Cum on feel the noize' and 'Get down and get with it' . The re-mastering gives the sound a bit of extra clout, too.
